Need Help with Counterfeit Dermatix Ultra Purchase on eBay
I’m looking for a scar treatment gel called Dermatix Ultra, which I really need. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find a genuine one in the U.S., and I’ve heard it’s mostly sold in Asia.
I found several listings on eBay and bought one, but it turned out to be a counterfeit. It even had a QR code on the box, but when I scanned it, it led me to a fake website that misspelled the brand name.
I contacted the seller right away, and they refunded me without any apology or explanation, which made the situation even more suspicious.
Also, the seller appeared to be located in the U.S. when I made the purchase (I specifically checked because I needed it to arrive quickly). But after I placed the order, the location suddenly changed to “In the U.S./China.†I asked the seller to cancel my order if it was shipping from China, and they replied that their warehouse was in Texas. However, they used a strange carrier called UniUni, which I had never heard of.
I reported the seller to eBay twice, explaining everything in detail, but both reports were dismissed, saying the listing didn’t violate any policy.
I don’t understand how that’s possible. After checking other sellers, they all seem suspicious and possibly selling counterfeits too. I honestly don’t know who to trust anymore, and I feel very discouraged. Even some listings on Amazon now seem questionable to me.
Could you please tell me what I can do in this situation? I really need a genuine product and would appreciate any help or guidance.
