Need help with additional refund on a purchase
I need help with how to obtain 2nd refund on a purchase, after I received a refund for the 1st item. eBay states the refund is complete and closed.
I purchased 2 used security cameras at $140 each on one invoice from a seller. The first camera was defective and the seller promptly issued a refund for the camera, by having me submit a return request. He did not have me return the camera.
The 2nd camera also turned out to be defective after I received a refund for the 1st camera. The seller again agreed to issue a refund for the 2nd camera, but is not cooperating. The seller wants me to initiate the 'return' on eBay, but eBay states I cannot appeal since I received a full refund and they closed the case. eBay will not allow me to request a return of the 2nd defective item.
So, I have a refund for only half the amount paid ($140 of $280). I shared the link of instructions with the seller, so he can initiate the return, but for anything outside of his comfort zone, he ghosts me. The seller is extremely responsive when his action is simple, but he ghosts me on anything but the most basic request. The seller will not respond to any of my requests now.
How can I receive the ~$140 refund on the 2nd defective camera?
