Need help on being ripped off by a seller.
I purchased cell phone for $281. Phone was totally defective, as verified by TMobile techs. I returned to seller, and he ignored me for 2 weeks after receiving phone. I opened case, and then he responded that no refund since screen was cracked. Absolutely untrue since I didn't even use it, and TMobile tech said so. This was a ruse to get out of refunding. So ebay closed the case, and won't let me appeal. Two weeks later I received another phone from him, and this one has screen bleed all over the screen and is totally unuseable. This shyster obviously knew I couldn't open another case since it appears to be the same phone on the website, even though it's the second. I had asked for a refund anyway, not another phone. The virtual assistant gives me the runaround, and I can't get anyone at ebay to call me so I can explain. I'm now out $281 and have a broken phone. His ads say excellent condition, open box or new, and returns accepted. This phone is obviously used and broken. How can I get some help here? Thx for any suggestions.
