Need Help Getting On Hold Funds Released
Hi — I need help with a Managed Payments issue.
Two local pickup orders say “Available in 31 daysâ€.
Buyer picked them up on 11/23, marked them as received, was satisfied, and left positive feedback.
These were delivered in person, in full, and customer service told me there was a temporary restriction earlier that week that caused a risk hold. That incorrect restriction has been fully removed.
Phone support says “nothing can be done,†but I’ve confirmed that Payments can review and adjust incorrect 30-day holds, especially for confirmed pickups with positive feedback.
Can you please help me find out how to escalate this to the Payments Back Office for review?
This is extremely urgent for me. Thank you.

Mentor8 months agoNew/infrequent sellers can have their payouts held for up to 30 days or more.
According to Ebay: New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices, becoming established, and building a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically receive their funds within 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer

Did you read the link I provided regarding the Ebay payment holds?
An excerpt from that page:
To help ensure eBay remains a safe place to buy and sell, and to meet our legal and compliance obligations, we sometimes place a hold on funds as described in our Payments Terms of Use , for example, if there's an open case or dispute on a transaction, if your buyer reports a problem with the order, if your account is restricted or suspended, if you owe eBay money, or if you're a new or infrequent seller. If your payouts are placed on hold for any reason, we'll notify you and, depending on the reason, may request additional information from you to help resolve the issue.
