Need help contacting eBay
Hi,
Today I received a package addressed to me, that contained an item and a return slip. I neither purchased nor sold any items related to what has been sent. The return label has a Florida address, and the shipping tracking number came out of Oklahoma.
The return label lists a buyer ID, an order number, an eBay return ID, and an eBay item number. Again, though, I never sold anything, and this is nothing I've purchased.
The tracking number doesn't match any shipped items that are outstanding purchases. None of the contact information has anything related to "I'm somehow part of a shipping scam." And the AI agent doesn't have an "other" option.
The closest I can get is "Hacked account," except that isn't the case. I show no items being sold. So I haven't been hacked, my address is just being used in a scam.
Thus, I need eBay's internal help in them finding and squashing the scam.
Any help would be... helpful.
