Need help
I sold a hotwheel car the buyer received the car then contacted me. I took all precautions when shipping the car I wrapped the plastic bubble the car sits inside of that’s attached to the card with blue painters tape wrapped around the plastic bubble so when the car rolls back n forth it doesn’t bust through the bubble. Also I shipped the car inside a car pretco and I filled the box with a lot of protection around the car case the car was in. I took every precaution I could have taken to ensure the car got to the buyer just as when I boxed it up. So this morning I get a message from the buyer telling me that the postal service didnot handle the package with care and he is saying the car got damaged due to the way the postal workers handled the package and wants to know what am I going to do to make this right. I have a 100 % positive feedback and take pride in keeping my selling this way and this is a very first for me that someone wants either a refund or some type of refund for something that had nothing what so ever do with me. So any suggestions. Thanks

Mentor2 years agoIf you ever saw how the post office handles packages you would not be surprised that the item could have been damaged during shipping.
Just tell the buyer to open a return case and you will accept the return and give a full refund once the item is returned. This way if the buyer is just looking for a partial refund without any proof of damage this will stop that idea.
Do not refund until the item is returned to you and inspected.
