Need clarification about eBay seller account verification for LLC
Hello,
I recently created a business seller account on eBay using my US Single-Member LLC (with an EIN).
During the registration process, eBay did not ask me to upload any documents like:
LLC formation documents
EIN letter (CP575)
Passport
Bank statement
On other platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, etc.), these documents are always required for verification, so I’m confused.
Can you please confirm:
Is my seller account fully verified?
Will eBay ask for these documents later for identity verification or payouts?
Is it normal that eBay does not ask for passport or LLC documents during onboarding?
I just want to make sure my account is correctly set up and there will be no issues later.
