Need assistance
I sold a product that was damaged in shipping the buy requested a refund. I sent a return shipping label. Now the buy wants to get a partial refund and keep the item they send me an amount and i agree on that for the refund. I have sent a partial refund but the buy says they have not received the offer. Is this because a return to sender is open? If so how do I cancel the return so the buy can get a partial refund? I have search the help.

Mentor2 weeks ago@lgis6321 I am not sure if this will work once the label has been approved. You are not charged for the return shipping label unless the buyer uses it.
How to offer a partial refund
To offer a partial refund:
Go to your Returns dashboard.
Select View return details beside the item.
Select Offer a partial refund and then Continue.
Enter the amount you wish to offer the buyer.
You can choose to add a message to the buyer.
Select Send offer.
You can only offer a partial refund once, and the buyer can choose to accept or reject your offer.
If that doesn't work then the buyer has to cancel the return request as @rfmtm stated. Then you issue a partial refund from the drop down menu next to the sold item.

OP2 weeks agoI have tried this it only gives me the option to do a full refund. I think the return needs to be cancelled on the buyer end then I can give the partial refund.

Mentor2 weeks ago@lgis6321 yes that's why I said if it doesn't work then the buyer has to cancel the return request. Then you issue a partial refund from the sold listing.
