Hiya,
I need some serious advice. I bought a phone in April. The seller later confirmed in writing during our conversation in July that they sent the Chinese version instead. By the time the seller confirmed this, the return window had already passed.
I've contacted the seller multiple times about this. They didn't respond to my last message, & I just sent another message requesting a full refund.
I'm looking for advice on next steps. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation, or know how I can contact eBay directly for help with an older order?

OP2 weeks agoI wanted to update everyone. I am so grateful that I ordered that stupid phone through paypal. I contacted paypal & opened the dispute through them. I told them the situation. They're giving the seller 8 days.
So for peace of mind - just purchase your stuff through paypal guys.

As @golfingaddict stated, your only recourse is to contact the funding source you used to pay for the item.

OP2 weeks agoThank you for taking the time out to help me. I had luckily paid it through paypal. They are taking care of the dispute & I'm able to provide the evidence. Paypal is so helpful you have no idea.

Mentor2 weeks agoeBay can't help you after 30 days. You would have to take it up with your payment source. Credit cards or Paypal may be able to assist.

OP2 weeks agoPaypal. I was so happy I paid through them. Then I had those people telling me to cancel my dispute - paypal was like don't do it. Yo...paypal is so helpful in guiding me through all of this. Even if I might lose. They are really kind. They took my 14 pieces of evidence.
