Need advice here, seller want me to close case in order to refund.

Hello there, tried to contact a live agent and that was impossible so maybe someone here can give me a light, I started a return article for refund but the return of the item was so expensive that seller decided not to pay for it, so he agreed in refund without getting the part back, but in order to refund he asked me to close the case promising to do the refund as soon as it was done, I understand he can refund since the case is still open but my question is, if I close the case may I reopen it...

@ti5mii Do NOT close the case until the seller refunds you. The seller just needs to go to the return request case and select send refund.

How to issue a full refund

To issue a full refund

Go to your Returns dashboard.
Select View return details beside the item.
Select Give a full refund and then Continue.
On the next page you'll see the refund amount. Select Refund the buyer.
