Need advice.
Ok so I bought something. say a Tupperware bowl. It arrived but the lid was damaged. I threw the lid away not thinking to take a picture - and tossed the bowl in the pantry. Staring at the useless bowl, I then contacted the seller to let them know the lid was damaged - I suppose to see what they would say. I was disappointed that they became defensive and pretty much did not believe me.
I want to leave a bad review, but I am on the fence because I did not take a picture. But then I am like - they should offer to do "something" as I am the one that is without a lid, leaving the bowl pretty much useless based upon its purpose. Then I ask myself - why should I have to suck it up when I am telling them the lid was damaged and unusable and unrepairable.
If anyone buys Tupperware, you know it is not cheap. My order was over $50 for three bowls where one had a damaged lid - so I am asking - what would the community do? Thanks for listening.

Mentor2 years agoYou should not have thrown the lid away. What you should have done is file a Returns Request for a damaged item. The seller would then provide a return label for the items return. You send all the items back, and when tracking shows DELIVERED, the seller has 2 days to refund you. Since you do not have the lid for the one bowl, that is not going to work. Without a photo, I doubt the seller is open to a partial refund.
