Need a real person for a complicated issue that auto assist will not recognize
Oh my gosh! I can't get any real help. Someone please help me. My buyer got impatient with slow USPS delivery and filed a request for a refund before I could file for a lost package with USPS. I had to refund. Then when I contacted the USPS, they said the item was still enroute and I could not file a claim. The item was delivered and now the buyer wants me to send an invoice. I want to do this the correct way so that eBay is still paid but I don't know how (I'm an inexperienced seller). The original buy was refunded and closed. Please help me before my buyer changes his mind! Thank you!

You can not send an invoice through eBay.
You and the buyer can agree on a payment method. The easiest, if you have a PayPal account, is to go to PayPal and send the buyer an invoice - you will need their email address.
If you do not have a PayPal account, you and the buyer can agree on Venmo, zelle or a paper check. Each requires you to send the buyer your info - email cell or address.
You could also set up a listing as a service for the buyer to purchase - list it under specialty services and call it refund repayment.

OP2 years agoThank you, thank you! You have been a big help! I will move forward as you have suggested. I really like working with the eBay platform but was getting sidelined on this complicated situation. You have helped clear my path forward. Very grateful. Have a great day!
