ebay has pretty good protection for buyers, it is called the Money Back Guarantee (MBG) those who read its terms and time frames usually will get resolution. As far as avoiding online scams there are several red flags to look for starting with a low to too good to be true price. To find out how to vet ebay sellers, open the link below and look for my answer there. OP1 month agoJust purchased an item ystrdy at excellent price. They sent 10 day shipping notice. It should only take 3 days. Google say its a scam site. I dont want money back-only $15.NEED Ebay to let me know its a scam site FAST, instead of beware of scam sites memo.

You posted this while I was writing my last answer. On every listing page there is an estimated delivery time frame given starting from the day you made the purchase. If you open the listing again, the delivery time frame will change to if you buy the item on the day you reopen the listing. In your purchase history the last expected delivery date is given in the Order details. Do keep in mind that ebay's ESTIMATED delivery time frames are Just that and do not always match that of the shipping service that is used. It is based on the seller's average package delivered times.

Mentor1 month agoWhat are the estimated delivery dates shown on your purchase history? Sellers can set their own handling times so although the item could be shipped in three days the seller may have an extended handling time. Handling times are up to the seller not eBay.
