Mystery how a seller shipped this item for $1.99? Anyone know this trick?

I bought this Makita tool on eBay and the shipping charge was $1.99 from Kentucky to CA. I'll provide the link. The shipping on the listing shows it was to be shipped by using https://www.ebay.com/itm/185695640612 UPS, but I see the origin shipment started with FedEx and the delivery to my home is Fedex. Why can't I find a way to ship that cheap? I am baffled. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? Thanks in advance.

Just because that is what you paid for the shipping doesn't mean that's what the seller paid. You cannot ship a power tool for $1.99. He had to pay the full shipping charge out of the item price or his pocket.
