My store
I've had a problem in my store that keeps generating transaction defects and now the performance level is below standard.
So I get an email telling me restriction are being placed on my store and I have until July to increase my performance level.
Ok, fine. I took almost everything out of my store in an attempt to get rid of whatever it was about the listings that were generating the defects as I honestly don't know why they were happening. It's not like I had all my items piled up in the closet as they were stored in boxes of like items, tee shirts in a box, shorts in a box, hoodies in a box, etc.
For whatever reason, one of a kind items sold and instead of being removed from the store, they were relisted as if I had more of them. Then someone else tries to buy it and boom, transaction defect.
I even caught a defect because a polybag adhesive had bonded so tightly to the tee shirt the item was ruined and I told the customer about it and canceled the transaction. Another defect. Granted I could have kept my mouth shut and mailed the ruined item anyway while playing stupid and then do the return, but I'm not that person. I did the right thing and caught a defect anyway.
Now I'm being told I have until July to increase my seller performance or else. I've dumped my inventory almost completely so what else could I possibly do between now and July that's going to "increase my performance"? The defects will still be there until 1/25 and my store is barely supporting itself, so what magic spell am I going to cast to make it better? I know I have what is still listed in my store so if nothing much sells, just how do you increase your performance? I have lots of new stuff coming and now I'm wondering if I'll even have a store to put it in.
If you look at my reviews, I'm 100% positive. I have no unresolved conflicts. I'm "perfect" in all other aspects other than transaction defects. Someone give me a way to increase seller performance without saying increase seller performance as I don't know what else I could do at this point other than keep listing inventory and hope it stops happening.

Mentor2 years agoYou need to increase your number of sales so the percentage of defects decreases. Lower prices, run a mark down sale. Ship on time. No more cancellations, and do whatever is necessary so if a buyer files a case, they do not Ask ebay to step in, as that is what will cause a defect.
