my seller performance has been downgraded for items out of stock, How improve if i'm restricted
I have made several errors on items that were out of stock. I have risen above the 2% defect rate and now I am restricted and can't promote. I am to be re-evaluated on February 20th but don't see how I can improve my rating as my sales have plumeted from nearly $3K over 90 days to now 1.3K over the last 90 days. There is no appeal on the out of stock errors although I have re-inventoried all and corrected any wrong quantities. One of these errors will time out before Feb 20th and I haven't had any other errors since I was notified in December. I cannot get to any agent to discuss. Very disappointed and hoping to not be further restricted on Feb. 20th. I keep getting emails saying I should improve my score, but I can't unless I sell much more to dilute the percentage by increasing my sales. Any ideas or if this has happened to you and you have had success in addressing with Ebay or fixing, please let me know. Karla

Go to your dashboard and open the monthly breakdown. You can see what your sales and defects will be for this next evaluation, and you can project them for the 3/20 evaluation.
Your 2/20 evaluation is for sales 2/1/25 through 1/31/26, so it is more likely that you can improve for the 3/20 (3/1/25 through 2/28/26) evaluation than the 2/20.
You have a store, so you can run sales - see if you can find some items that you could offer buy one/get one x% off. This way you encourage multiple item purchases. If you can find an inexpensive item as @eastlaneave suggested, that would be a good item to offer on a multi-item sale.
I don’t think customer service can offer you any other suggestions, but if you want to speak to them, here's how to contact eBay general customer service.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:

2. Select a category that best matches your problem.
3. Answer the chat bots question by stating what you need help with.
4.Type AGENT ( you may have repeat steps 3 and 4)
5. Request a call back or live chat. (Note that the contact options vary depending on the topic and staffing availability)

I'm sorry that happened.
The consequences of falling Below Standard can include:
- Your items may be placed lower in search results
- eBay may limit or restrict you from selling on your account and related accounts, or from registering a new account
- Funds from your sales may be held
- You'll be charged a higher percentage rate for final value fees
--- You will be blocked from using the Promoted Listings tool, and will not be able to create new campaigns or edit existing campaigns
- eBay may downgrade your eBay Store to the Basic level if you've been Below Standard for more than 60 days
- You'll be unable to access the partial refund tool
"Your seller performance status is at risk in the US" means that your account is at risk of being closed or being assessed higher Final Value Fees due to problems in your sales.

There is no appeal, canceling a sale for being out of stock is one of the worst things a seller can do on eBay.
Hopefully your one cancel will roll off on Feb 20 and so on March 1 things will improve.
One thing you can do is sell an inexpensive item for a bargain price to get the sales.
