My policies: Seller does not accept returns.
The buyer decided to return the item and claimed to have found a defect (that's what he said). He sent a small photo in which I can't see any defect (there can't be a defect). I asked him to send a larger photo and indicate where the defect is, but a week has passed and he hasn't sent anything. I called eBay, and they are going to refund the buyer. I refused the return because he won't pack it properly, and my item will come back to me all damaged. Nobody is protecting the seller.

OP8 months agoIt turns out that any buyer can return what they bought due to their own mistake, simply by claiming the item is defective, even without providing photographic proof. I've been making these items for about forty years, and I have a one hundred percent positive feedback rating; there can't be any defects. All these items are made using the same templates. There simply cannot be any defects.

Mentor8 months agoEbay's Money Back Guarantee overrides your "No returns" policy.
If the buyer filed a Return Request with a valid reason per the Ebay Money Back Guarantee, you are required to approve the request and provide a prepaid return shipping label. Since you refuse, Ebay will refund the buyer from YOUR funds and let the buyer keep the item.
