My phone/pc was hacked

Question

I bought three(3) gift cards yesterday for someone claiming to be my minister who said he was in a meeting and need some gift cards to help several people. I bought three ebay cards and gave him the information on the card. I found out the minister wasn't in a meeting yesterday and want to cancel the gift cards. ((So I lost money). I need to talk to a life person to help (if possible ) to cancel the cards.

It sounds like you received an email or a message from a scammer. That is not the same as being hacked -- though it is possible your minister's email was hacked, or possibly impersonated.

Gift cards are like cash; once anyone knows the redemption code, the amount can be spent. That is why scammers ask for them. Once spent, there is little recourse.
