My package was delivered, but was likely stolen
So I ordered a Marvel Legends X-Men figure on March 20th, 2025, and it was said to be delivered to my mailbox on Tuesday, March 25th morning, but when I went to check my mailbox Thursday night, it was not there. I asked my family if they had already brought the package home while I was away, but they hadn't checked since at least Sunday. We would later find out that the mailbox was vandalized, and it was possibly stolen. Any of our remaining mail would be sent to our local post office, so I went to check last Wednesday, but they didn't have it either. They said that by March 25th any of the mail in that mailbox should have been stolen so that's most likely what happened to it. The post office said I should file a claim, but I don't know where or how.

I assume they mean file a police report and a claim with your home insurance.
Shipping insurance will not cover a package once it has been scanned as delivered. You can file a mail theft report, but it sounds like your PO already knows about the theft.
