If you can still sign in to your account, change the email associated with the account.

That's the problem. I can't sign into the acct because I haven't used it in several years. It wants to send a notice to the old email address to send a temporary code to put in prove it's me. Is there any way to reach a person at eBay to help me resolve this? I was a buyer and a seller for several years before my husband got sick. Thank you.

Mentor3 years agoIf eBay wants to send an email to an old address, that is a sign that the account still exists, which is good.
When you try to sign in, on the page where you can enter your password, use the "Need help signing in?" link. From there, use the "Reset" option, and look under the reset instructions and you should see a "contact" link -- that is specifically for users having problems signing in.
