My negative review was removed
I had a terrible experience with a purchase. The seller approved my return, but I decided to just weld and remachine the defective part myself instead of returning it. I took the time to write a negative review and included pictures of the defective part so that others would be warned. eBay removed my review. I had qualms about buying the part in the first place, but I relied on there being no negative reviews. I am unlikely to buy anything else on eBay unless I have no other option. eBay is doing a terrible disservice to conscientious sellers by removing accurate and verifiable negative reviews

The money back guarantee is there to protect the buyer.
If you decided it was worth keeping it and trying to make it work instead of returning it for a full refund, the seller doesn’t deserve negative feedback.
Depending what the exact wording is was, maybe the comments you left went against eBay’s guidelines and that it why it was removed.

Mentor3 years agoEbay only removes a negative feedback if that feedback said something that broke one of the Ebay rules. I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience. I hope next time you get what you are after.
