my mom had emergency surgery. I provided a wrong shipping number but sent right items. Help
This is my mother's ebay account, and she has been away for 3 days, leaving me and her husband to take care of the items that sold. I'm new to this process . She always ships within 24 hours, attaches the tracking number, then sends a personal message that it's on the way.
I had 2 items to ship, they went to the correct address. I was looking at the receipt and entering the tracking number but I was looking at the wrong one. So when I went to contact the other buyer, I entered their shipping number and realized I had JUST attached that number to a message to the other buyer.
I sent them both an explanation that the seller is still in the hospital and the mistake I made, so I hope they understand.
Both items were 100% sent to the correct address.
I am wondering if this could possibly cause damage to her perfect seller rating. I dont know how to contact someone at ebay, can someone please help me out?

I hope the surgery was a success and your mom is on the road to recovery.
As long as you have added the correct tracking numbers to the correct order on eBay you should be fine. She will have proof of delivery and be covered for Item Not Received claims. Most buyers are very understanding and as long as they got the correct ones they will be able to track their packages.
If you need help adding the tracking to the eBay orders come back and I can give you directions to do so. You need to make sure those are added as soon as possible.
The only issue you may have is if you did not send them within her handling time. That would give her some late shipping defects. Depending on her volume it may not be an issue at all.
