My mailman did not scan the packages
The mailman did not scan my packages and now they are not in the system. Supervisor said to wait for a few days. For what? What shall I do?

Mentor2 years agoI had this happen a few weeks ago. I had 2 packages and my carrier said he scanned both, but only one showed as picked up. On eBay, it said it wasn't picked up, but when I went to the USPS site, it showed as delivered. It took nearly 4 days for it to update on the eBay site. I have never had that happen before. Maybe check the USPS site. You can sign up for email or text notifications from there.

·2 years agoYou are credited for on time shipping if there is a scan within your handling time OR if there is a delivery scan within the total estimated delivery time. Hope there are no delays.

There is nothing you can do. The packages should be scanned as they move through the mail stream, and at delivery. Check the tracking at usps.com and ask for email or text updates - you’ll know when they are scanned sooner than waiting for the tracking update by eBay.

Latest update - phew, the packages were finally scanned at the destination centers and now out for delivery! Imagine, no scanning was done from the time mailman had them till the destinations. This is so worrying (for days) especially when USPS tracking showed that they were not in their system so who will Ebay believe? Hahaha.
