My late shipment report
Supposedly my late shipment report is based on 4 late shipments out of 150 items. Two of the four are on the same date as two others on a list of 8 in my report that for some reason are not being considered. Is the report just arbitrary as to what they decide? Technically they should only be considering 2 of 150. One of the two is only 5 days later than the two that are not being considered in my report. When I try and contact anyone in that department to ask about this issue, it seems to not exist. How would I get a hold of this department?

I can't see your report, but here's how it works
If you get an on-time shipment scan, it doesn't matter when the item arrives, that shipment won't count against you.
If you don't get a scan, and the item arrives on time, it won't count against you.
If you don't get a scan, and the item arrives late, it will count against you.
Sometimes due to weather in your area, eBay will remove late shipment scans.

OP5 months agoI shipped 4 items under one tracking number. They all arrived on the same day in one package. Two of the items are being counted against me and the other two are not. Supposedly 4 out 150 are being calculated. Two items from July 3 must be part of that calculation while the other two are not. July 8th arguably should drop off since two of the July 3rd items have. At a minimum they should only be counting 2 of 150. There doesn't seem to be any continuity. The red circle encompasses the items shipped under one tracking number together. The blue circle I assume are the 4 items out of 150 they are using for their calculations.

OP5 months agoThanks for your help. I think I see what they are doing. They group items shipped together as one item, and hold it against you for a year. The first 6 items are two shipments. Counting all 8 items as only four shipments. The post office was at fault for slow delivery times, and eBay holds me accountable.

Yes, eBay holds us accountable *if* we don't get an on-time scan.
If you have a scan within your handling time, it doesn't matter when it's delivered, it's not late for this metric.
Just be sure to get scans on your packages and you will be fine.
