My item was returned and delivered over 2 weeks ago and still no refund...

I ordered an item that was missing parts to it. The collection was also very moldy and gross. I filed to return it and then I sent it back. It was delivered for the return over 2 weeks ago. About a day after it got delivered I got a phone call from somebody that said they live at the address that I sent the package to (the address on the automated return label) and she said that she does not know who the person is on the return, and that she lives at that address.
Long story short, I just want my money back. Every time I click to try to appeal it or ask eBay to step in or get an update it says there's an error and I can't submit it. I can't find any phone numbers or emails to reach out to eBay about this and I'm worried I'm going to lose my money.

I think you were scammed on the return because how in the world would somebody you do not know get your phone number??? I am not aware of eBay putting phone numbers on their claim return labels. Normally the Seller has 2 days to refund you via an official eBay claim. If they don't you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in to force the refund. If you did not ask them to step in via the claim process then that may have been a problem.
It sounds like at this point you may want to consider filing a dispute with your funding source to try and get your money back.

OP1 week agoThe auto generated return label from Ebay did have my phone number on it.

OP1 week agoEver time I click the ask ebay to step in button or anything do do with the return, the ebay website says error and doesnt submit it.

OP2 weeks agoI am sure I am doing something wrong, but every prompt I click sends me back to the automated response / help articles. No phone number or email for ebay
