How else was it resolved unless it was an offer @mr_lincoln ? I saw no strike through so did not think that was it, although I did mention it. And no strike through on yours.

@evry1nositswindy Thanks for checking, it sold for $ 15.95 but apparently the original price of $ 17.95 is being published for others to see as you have shown ... now that's strange considering the Best offer flow shows the list price as a strike through number.

Well,

It looked like I must have hit a promo option... and it sent out as a $2.00 sale.

I will not be looking at that again, until I learn how to do that stuff. I assumed I was just looking at it as a "what if I promoted it- would it cost more fees or something." and apparently... I must have clicked it to actually work.

So completely my fail. I panicked this morning. Thank you all for your help!

Have you looked at order details or payment details on a desktop? Maybe the answer will be there. I haven't used best offer in such a long time, so I'm not sure if you would see that information somewhere.

Thank you for your help.

I do not believe I did that - I try not to add any amounts on the best offer - so that if someone is interested, they can contact me. Is there anyway to be able to see if it was my mistake? I would actually feel a lot better if I knew that it was my mistake so I don't do it again I just do not see any info on the order regarding a best offer accepted or a sale price accepted? Thank you

Yes, sorry to say, you will have to honor the sale or get a defect on your account. This Ask a Mentor forum is your best bet. You can call customer service, as they can see your actual transaction and we can't, but they aren't known for being knowledgeable. Let's see if someone else will add to this thread with some other thoughts. I 'called' the other mentor who responded and he might have another idea.

That is my fear, I have tried multiple times today to contact support and got nowhere. No phone # just forum pre-loaded posts on non related info.

I used to be able to contact ebay regarding things. It looks like now- there is no support for sellers.

Is that correct. We can only get topic support not actual ebay customer support?

I do not see anything that says that. This makes me want to close down my little dingy store. Its just so frustrating and I dont see any rhyme or reason for it. I would like to cancel the sale. But it looks like that will be a problem for me as a seller

@evry1nositswindy It was not an offer, no strike through on the Sold price. I seem to recall eBay had a feature where they would decrease the price of an item the longer it went, but I don't recall the details on how that worked or if it was still a feature.

@albertabrightalberta mentioned the result of Send Offer eligible, that could explain it, I don't think sales on that offer flow have the strike through, you can check that on this listing of mine 335032268628

Original price of $ 17.95 but I sent offers to Watchers for $ 15.95. If you check my Sold items and there is a $ 17.95 with strike through then I am wrong ... if you see $ 15.95 then I am right, the Send offer flow pricing is handled differently.

I made a mistake in understanding the OP ... I thought the item sold for $ 10.00 not $ 10 less than the original price, would like to know which item they are talking about ...

You can copy and paste from your page that shows items to be shipped. Did you maybe get a best offer?

Did you mistakenly have an auto-accept that might have been set at $2?

Well... I contacted the buyer and he was able to shine some light on the problem.
Completely my fault. So of course I will honor the sale and take this as a lesson learned.

Im not sure how i can screen shot this- but it shows that the item (dodge book) sold for 2.00 total sale was $7.00 including a $5.00 shipping.

That is all it shows and its asking me to ship it out for that.

If I am charged fees based on a $12.99 sale but it only sold for $2.00 + $5.00 for shipping that will put me in the extra negative zone for that sale.

Is there someone I can call to go over this error?

Hi @huckshouse Which item are you talking about??? I see an item sold today for $ 12.99 with $ 5 shipping ... the Payout amount you get from eBay is LESS their fees. I see an item sold for $ 10.99 but nothing for a flat $ 10.00.
