My has been hidden & I have spent hours trying to revise it but find no option to do so that works -Frustrated!
Summary: bzbzbee is frustrated because their listing for an HP 27X Black Toner Cartridge on eBay was hidden due to international laws about recycling options. Despite seeing similar listings completed successfully, they are unable to revise their item to limit sales to the US only and have had unhelpful experiences with automated help. After receiving no suggestions, they plan to delete the listing and start over.

eBay says it was hidden, as near as I can figure, because of some laws in other countries about furnishing recycling options.
I see loads of other listings for the same type toner cartridges that seem to be completed satisfactorily.
I thought if I limit the item to sales in the US only that might bring it into compliance. I have been around and around with the automated help system but am unable to revise my item.

Because your HP toner cartridge listing has been hidden rather than permanently deleted, you do not need to start from scratch. The restriction is triggered because eBay's default international shipping programs (like eBay International Shipping / eIS) automatically expose your listing to global markets like the EU or UK, which enforce strict environmental recycling regulations
Since the listing is currently hidden, the standard "Revise" button may not appear or may throw an error in the active dashboard. You can resolve this issue, bypass the automated chatbot, and limit your sales to the US by following these steps.
When eBay hides a listing due to localized international compliance issues, it often forces the item into a temporary holding pattern.
Log into your eBay Seller Hub.
Navigate to your Listings tab.
If it is not showing under Active, check your Unsold folder or look for a Hidden/Action Required alert sub-tab.
Click the dropdown menu next to the item and select Edit or Revise
To lift the restriction, you need to tell eBay's system that you will not ship this item outside of the United States. You can do this right inside the listing's editing page:
Scroll down to the Shipping section of your listing form.
Look for International Shipping and toggle it Off or uncheck eBay International Shipping.
To be absolutely safe, locate the Exclude shipping locations setting directly within the listing.
Click Create/Edit Exclusion List, check the box for Worldwide (or specifically target Europe/UK), and save it.
Submit the revisions to make the listing live again for US buyers only.
If this does not work then Request a Callback: Go to the standard eBay Help & Contact page, search "Removed or hidden listings", scroll to the absolute bottom of that specific help article, and look for the Have us call you or Chat with us option to get past the automated diagnostic loops.

OP2 weeks agoI have heard no suggestions. I guess i'll try deleting the original listing and starting from scratch.
