My Ebay Motors purchase is not in my purchase history, BUT I need to return by May 6th! WDID?

Question

My ebay purchase history doesn't show my ebay motors purchase. I have 3 ebay motor emails that show my purchase, confirmation, and when it was delivered. I need to return the part I don't need by May 6th. Every link in the emails to begin an "Return", open new windows in my browser showing this error message: 'Something went wrong. It's not you, it's us. Please try again'. I have tried Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Edge browsers. The error message appears, and the purchase is not listed in my "Purchase History" either!

What Do I Do? Please help.

You're right. I just noticed I didn't use their app (it auto-signs me in). My browser history shown I did my search/shop in eBayMotors. So, I probably did buy the part for my kid's 1st car, as a "guest". I'll pay closer attention next buy.

However, I did receive a email this morning from Ebay, for further help on returning my item.

Is it possible you made those purchases using a different eBay account? If so you will need to sign in to that account to find those transactions in your Purchase History.

Is it possible you made those purchases as a guest? Guest orders are not connected to your eBay account; for help with a guest order you must first sign out of your existing eBay account and then use the "order details" link in the email that you received from eBay regarding the guest order, or else right click on the link and choose to open the link in a private or incognito browser window.
