My ebay account
Hi, I received an email stating the following:
We wanted to send you a final reminder that you’ll need to make improvements to your seller performance in the United States by March 20 to prevent further action being taken against your account.
So last quarter I received this because since I had started selling on ebay in July of 2022 I had 5 cancelled orders. So these items (1 was a breakable item and I broke it while packaging it), but 4 were because they were things that sold within a 24 hour period on other platforms. So I chose the first time stamped sale to send out. BIG MISTAKE. I now understand that i would always need to cancel the other platform no matter when the ebay sale came in. YIKES. I have also learned better ways of managing inventory so that I mark items sold as soon as I get notifications. I was new. I was learning. But now I'm concerned because I received that message. I really don't sell a lot on ebay. Especially since I received that downgrade before. It's like it made my account quicksand. I can't improve on something that is just there. I have had zero cancellations since. I have 100% positive feedback. I don't know what to do about it. I'm stuck in ebay jail. I can't even access the place where I used to be able to promote items. I don't know. This ebay thing is getting to be a HUGE hassle. Should I take this account down and start over?

Mentor3 years agoThis is the reason ebay cautions listing the same items on identical platforms. It's good that you have not filed any more cancellations. Now you have to increase your sales so that defect ends up with a lower percentage. When I was a below standard seller, I found items to list at a very low price with free shipping to increase sales. It took me several months as I was limited to only listing 10 items per month.
