my buyer asked me to hold the package for two weeks
Hi, since its impossible to talk to anyone at ebay I thought I would post this here.
I sold an item on ebay and the buyer has asked me to hold off shipping the item until he returns home from vacation at Aug. 17th, which means I will be shipping it out later than my 5 day shipping policy.
How do I tell ebay so they know what is going on with the item that I sold.

Mentor2 years agoDon't do this. Tell buyer to have the carrier hold or forward the item as you must ship on time. Otherwise, cancel the transaction for buyer request and relist for them to repurchase later, or repurchase now, but not pay until the 17th (cancel 5 days after the 17th if he doesn't pay for non-payment).
