My auction won’t turn off!
Hi, I don’t know if this is a glitch or what but, does anyone know why eBay is not allowing you to turn off the auction option when listing a product? If so, what do I do?

How you select a listing format depends on the listing tool you are using.
1. If you are using the Quick Listing Tool ( you will see a gear on the upper right of the listing tool)
then select Buy It Now in the pricing section by clicking the Buy It Now toggle so it turns BLUE and the Auction toggle turns GREY:

2. If you are using the Advanced Listing Tool: https://www.ebay.com/sl/prelist/suggest?sr=shstart (It will have the option to add a video in the photo section)
Scroll down to the pricing section and select Buy It Now from the format drop down menu.

OP2 years agoI've tried that but, it automatically turns auction back on to the blue and buy it now to the grey. And for the advanced tool option there is no option to change auction to buy it now. It just says auction or classified ad?! It used to let me put buy it now, but it no longer does that for some reason?

1. Is this listing active?
2. What are trying to list? Not all categories have classified.
3. Are you using this listing tool on a computer>
You will know you are using the Advanced Listing Tool when you see the option to add a short video in the photo section.
To access Seller Hub:
1. Go to https://www.ebay.com/sh/landing
2. Click Start Using Seller Hub
3. Open your Draft here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/drafts
4 .To create a new listing go to your active listings page:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active and click the blue Create listing button near the top, right-hand side of the page.
