My appeal to return an item was denied, even though I am still in the allowed time frame to return

Question

I have until April 1st to return and item, and today is only March 30, but the seller had filed to close the case, and eBay did, informing me I will no longer qualify for a refund.

I appealed the decision, but the appeal was denied.

I am clearly in the right, and they are in the wrong. But now do I enforce my right? Do I need to sue in small claims court, or is there another solution.

What was the reason for the return? What is your seller's return policy (shown on the Shipping, returns & payments tab of the item listing)?
