The eBay app seems to be working for me, though I have seen some posts from users experiencing problems. Perhaps the problems are limited to certain versions of the app or certain devices.
Make sure you are using the latest version of the app. Some app issues may be helped by uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device and then reinstalling the latest version of eBay app. The restart in between should ensure a clean install.
If that does not help, you may want to post on one of the app boards:
There are helpful eBay folks that read and respond to app issues there. Be sure to include your device's model number, operating system version and your eBay app version number.
