·2 years agoWhat message from eBay did you get, or error message are you getting when you try to do exactly what, or if no message what circumstances lead you to your conclusion that you are "restricted": what page are you on, what blanks do you fill and what links do you click, what happens next vs. what did you expect to happen?
Variations of the root "restrict" are used in many different situations (sometimes by message writers to mean something different than what the Help Page for that action says it means). The exact text of the message is important to figure out what is going on and what your options are.

Make sure the ebay registered name is EXACTLY identical to the name on your checking account, including middle initial or middle name.
Make sure you also register a physical street address, no P.O. Boxes. That can be changed later if needed.
