My account is gone. How do I get it back?
The account that I've used for the past 15 years is gone. The system doesn't recognize the email address or the account name. I can't find a link to contact customer service, because I keep getting errors on their damned pages. How do I get my account back? Anyone have a link that goes directly to a phone number that I can use?

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
If you are unable to get a call back, try contacting eBay via social media direct message:

OP4 months agoOMG... It's all gone. I looked back at my records and I think I started that account in 2000, so 26 years of history is gone. The Ebay rep that I talked to says there is no record of the account ever existing, so there is no way to retrieve it. I'm just sick. I'm supposed to start selling again with a brand new shiny history with zero purchases and zero sales. But... the rep said that I have a "good vibe" so there's that, right? lol.

When was the last time you signed in successfully?
If it was recently and you think the account may have been hacked and the username and contact info changed, try contacting eBay through this page:
