My account has been suspended without receiving the payment for my sales. Please help me, Please.
Hi, I would like to explain my situation in detail and seek your guidance, as I am deeply confused and frustrated by the recent permanent restriction placed on my eBay account.
In April, I sold a high-value item (worth approximately $5,500) to a buyer in the United States. However, the buyer refused to receive the item, claiming that the import taxes were too high, and forcibly returned the product to Korea. According to eBay's own policy, when an item is refused due to the buyer's refusal to pay import taxes, it is not covered for return or refund protection. I raised this point, and eBay confirmed that the case would be closed in the seller’s favor.
Shortly after this case was resolved, I unexpectedly received an MC011 "Get back to selling" restriction email. Since then, I have been unable to create listings, and even when I sell items, the payment has not been released to me.
I have never sold defective items or counterfeit products. All of the products I have sold are 100% genuine. I even shared photos of the actual items with my buyers, and until now, there has never been any issue regarding the authenticity or condition of my products.
When I inquired about the reason for the restriction, I was told that a claim had been filed by other buyer stating that they had not received an item (Product B). I then submitted evidence proving that the item was indeed delivered, including tracking information and confirmation from the buyer.
Following this, eBay requested further documentation such as my government-issued ID, credit card statement, business registration certificate, and purchase invoices for all products I have sold—from the first sale to the most recent. I complied fully with these demands and submitted all the requested documents.
On June 30th, I submitted everything: identification, business license, transaction evidence (including tax invoices), and even real photographs of our actual business premises. Despite submitting these materials, I received no response for a long time—until today, when I suddenly received an email stating that my account has been permanently restricted from selling due to alleged activities "putting the eBay community at risk."
I am unable to understand why my account has been permanently suspended despite fulfilling every document request. Furthermore, funds from sales made before the MC011 restriction have still not been released. As a small business, this situation has caused me significant financial hardship, with over $10,000 USD in unpaid funds being held by eBay.
Additionally, I have learned through Korean seller communities that I am not the only one facing this issue. There are others in a similar situation who are unable to access their rightful funds without any clear explanation.
I would like to ask for your help in understanding:
Why was my account permanently restricted despite fully cooperating and submitting all requested documents?
How can I recover the withheld sales proceeds?
Should I consider legal action in order to resolve this matter?
I sincerely request your assistance, as this situation is causing immense stress and financial damage to my business.
