my 1st sell...i issued refund before i sent them a return label
I made my first sell on ebay. The shoe size was off, did not fit the buyer, i issued refund. Of course they should not have to pay for return shipping. How do I get them a return label if refund was already issued. The dashboard is not giving me this option. Someone please help

It is too bad that this happened to you on your first sale. You will not be able to send your buyer a return shipping label through ebay, since you refunded them. Refunding before receiving an item back indicates that you do not want the item back. You could try messaging the buyer and ask if you mail them a return shipping label if they will send it back.
"The shoe size was off, did not fit the buyer... Of course they should not have to pay for return shipping".
Actually you are wrong about that. While there is standard sizing in the shoe industry it is generally only the length and width. The same holds true with clothing Mfrs.. Ones Med. size may be larger or smaller than others.
Shoe sizes are inconsistent because there is no universal governing standard for how footwear is measured or manufactured.
Manufacturers build shoes around a last, which is a 3D foot-shaped mold. Every brand—and even different models within the same brand—uses unique lasts that change the width, instep, heel shape, and toe box. It is up to buyers to know about what they are buying, they can look up reviews of a brand or model before making a purchase.
Because your listing gave the shoe size and there are photographs of the Mfr's. size in the listing the buyer's reason for a return Did Not Fit, is considered by ebay to be a Buyer's Remorse return, which means they have to pay the return shipping cost if they want a refund. As a seller you need to know the terms and time frames of ebay's Money Back Guarantee for the same reasons buyers do. Below is a link to the policy that you may want to save/bookmark.
If you intend to sell shoes in the future you may want to add a disclaimer about shoe sizing at the end of your seller description. Ex: Each Mfr's sizing is for length/width only. Each one uses different molds for toe and heal box and instep placement. Look up their sizing reviews on line.
