MV listings break search
Searched for 32GB DDR4 SODIMM, lowest price + shipping, buy it now. First 100 results were multi variation listings where the 4-8GB module was the sorted price while the price for the item I was searching for was 10x higher or that item was not available at all. I'm afraid I don't want to ask why this is allowed in order to retain some faith in this platform.
So that didn't work. I moved onto hard filters. 16GB per module. Number of modules: 2. First 8-10 pages gave zero valid results. The results that I checked all had correct metadata in direct conflict with my filters. This is not a user problem. It is an eBay problem. This seems like the exact "Dark Patterns" and violations of digital fairness recently brought up by regulators. After 8-10 pages of invalid results, I started to see valid listings matching my filters. In fact, all listings matched from then on. What is going on here?
