Multiples boxes for one order shipping internationally
Hi I have an order to be shipped and I need to use more than one box as this is a large order, but when I am trying to print the second label the cost of shipping is significantly higher than what the customer paid.
I dont know how ebay calculated the shipping cost to the customer but it is way off.
The additional cost will be charge to the customer directly?

Mentor2 years agoYou cannot charge the buyer any more than what is shown on the listing. Here is what I send to a seller when asked about shipping in multiple packages:
ebay is not designed for shipping in multiple boxes. But here is what most sellers have found that works:
Weigh and measure all the packages. Determine the shipping cost to zone 8. Add up all the shipping costs together and list as flat rate (same price to everyone). State that you will discount the difference if the winner is not in zone 8, so please wait for an invoice.
When you print your labels via ebay, print the label for the first box. Then select the option to print another label, changing the weight/dimensions as needed. ebay limits the number of labels to 5 per transaction.
