Multiple Purchases of Same Item
I had an item listed with multiples (17). Last night someone made three separate purchases for (6), (6), and (5). This marked the item as "Sold Out". Seems fishy to me, why did the buyer not just select 17 on one order? I researched the buyer and they have (149) feedback but they are all very similar and in the comments and are word for word from from different buyers/sellers. Am I over thinking this or should I just ship it. All the orders say "buyer paid and to ship them out" but this is a lot of money if I get stuck holding the bag. How can I confirm this is a real purchaser?

Mentor1 year agoHonestly, it doesn't matter if you are torn or not. The buyer paid, you ship. Cancelling paid orders will give you defects on your account and 3 of them could possibly shut you down. The good news is that once tracking shows as delivered to the freight forwarder, your job is done. If it doesn't arrive to the buyer, it isn't your fault because they had the items forwarded.

Lots of feedback is exactly the same - eBay provides canned responses for seller to use.
Perhaps the buyer sees a chance to flip the items at a profit either here or on another site. Is your price attractive enough for that?
I would ship, but I would send 3 packages so that each purchase has a different tracking #.

OP1 year agoSo, more details on my original question. The address that is on all 3 orders is a Freight Forwarding company in Delaware. When I Google the address there are search results that come up with other sellers reporting a good experience shipping to this address, and plenty stating they got scammed shipping to this address. But because it's a FF company, it is being used by multiple people as a staging area to ship overseas I guess to save them shipping costs as the items can be bulk shipped. I am just torn on what to do. Thanks for the response.
