Multiple Item Purchase
Good Morning,
I posted something similar, or so I thought, a few days ago, but had not received any responses. So I'll repost in case the first didn't take, and shorten it and hope someone out there can help..
First, I had Time Away settings from July 2nd through the 8th, and was under the assumption that buys could bid and pay for items that were only auctions. Somehow I had a buyer purchase over 25 items, only a few that were auctions, during this Time Away time. And then somehow purchased items AFTER this one large number of items purchase. Confused, yeah I am too.
Second, I have a limited number of items due to a large number of reasons, but to each seller their own. I am confused how a buyer could just blow past that limit without eBay enforcing that limit. They bought THREE TIMES over what my limit is.
Has anyone experienced anything similar and/or possibly help with this?
Thank you for your time.

Mentor1 year agoTime Away can hide listings, with or without actually suspending sales. If you did not pause your sales, then even if your listings could not be found in a search, someone with your listings already on a Watch List or in a cart could still complete a purchase.

I see 17,000+ items you currently have listed, and no indication your account is on "Time Away" though. I can put an item of yours in my cart and go to checkout, and see an estimated delivery date of July 10th to 14th.
If you have limits to the number of items a single user can purchase within ten days, check your settings to make sure that they still apply to all your active listings.
