Multiple item listings
I see many items identified as unique, antique, one-of-a-kind listed by multiple sellers. Are these copies? Or do sellers list items they do not physically have in inventory on consignment? Or do both situations arise.
I have stopped sales when I see multiple listings as I expect them to be copies not originals.
Sometimes the duplicate disappears after a purchase indicating it was the same item. But sometime there are actual separate physical items alleging to be the original.
So what's the deal other than caveat emptor? Can someone give me a little more useful insight?
