Motors listing has errors, how to fix?
Ebay populated cadillac fleetwood brougham vehicle Inc vin# incorrectly. How to correct?

·2 years agoIf the listing has the wrong VIN, then the Autocheck report is going to be wrong. Check out the report. If it doesn't display the expected issues associated with your vehicle, then I recommend canceling the bids and ending the listing (fees are non-refundable). If the report is pretty close to the situation on your vehicle you might look for a way to add the VIN information to the description.
Once a listing has bids, many of the details can not be modified. You might still be able to "add to description" and post the actual VIN that way. Or, perhaps a friend can use the link in the listing to ask for the actual VIN, and you can tick the box in your reply to have your response appended to the description.
