Mother**bleep**ing Passkeys
How the **bleep** do I get Ebay to stop trying to create passkeys when I sign in? I use a desktop computer in my home. There is no chance of anyone else using this account. My password is strong and it's all I need.
On a related note, how do I get Ebay to stop telling me to buy things on their mother**bleep**ing app? I will never use my goddamn phone to make purchases, that is stupid and dangerous.
I want Ebay to do what *I* want it to do, and stop trying to tell ME what to do on my own **bleep** computer. I'm sick of their prompts, and if Ebay doesn't stop it's bull**bleep**, I'm going to close my account and shop elsewhere.

·1 year agoSorry, but I'm not aware of any way to disable that request. I get it too, and yes, it's a little annoying to have to skip it when it pops up, but if you have your computer set to stay logged into the eBay website, it should be somewhat rare.

Have you considered deleting the app and using a browser on your device. Years ago I had the app for about 45 minutes, but I deleted it. Could not figure it out.

·1 year ago1) disneyshopper is one of the most experienced of the eBay Mentors. I’m sure they understood your question. Especially since they advised you to just ignore the pop up ads, and asked if you’re referring to using a user name and password to sign in.
2) referring to your original post, you need to read the Community Guidelines on posting here. Profanity is against the Community Guidelines.

Mentor1 year agoI only use a desktop computer with ebay. I have no idea what you are referring to when you say "Passkey". I use my user ID and password to log in.
I get those ads to download the app. I just ignore them. I find it difficult to type using my phone, so I basically use it only to make and receive phone calls. I seldom give out my phone number.
