Morally wrong ebay.on all levels (BAD EBAY ROBOT)
Summary: josepgregori_0 expressed frustration about eBay displaying other sellers' ads on their listed items, describing it as unfair and detrimental to their business. They feel this practice pressures sellers to lower prices, potentially leading to financial losses. gosimus responded by questioning the logic, suggesting that lower prices would not benefit eBay, as they earn a percentage of the sale price.
This putting in other people's ads on my items site should be illegal. I pay for an ebay store to list my items every month. This is a slap in the face of all ebay sellers.its also a way to push sellers to Lower there prices to lower are prices.to a point of going out of business. (I have no problems with buyers looking for the best deal for themselves) but to have these ads befour they read my description is and insult to my intelligence. ( this is morally wrong in a human and business sense)

That seems illogical to me. eBay takes a percentage of the price an item sells for. The higher the price, the higher the percentage that eBay gets.
Using the principle of reductio ad absurbum, extrapolate the logic to an extreme: If item prices were reduced to zero, then eBay's cut would be zero. A company can go broke in a hurry making zero on every sale.
