Money refunded, seller never contacted me, what gives?
Bought a chair yesterday at appx 6 p.m. Just now got an email saying the money was refunded to PayPal. The seller has not contacted me. When I go back to find the listing, it says it has ended, product was sold yesterday at 6 (that was me of course). Now I can’t find anything about the seller, the name or any of their other listings. It just shows EBay Commerce (I understand that is what they put now for all sellers). At this point I don’t care that I can’t get the item, but this seems suspicious. Why would a seller not contact me to let me know item was not available, will refund your money. Was it just a ploy to get my CC/Paypal info? I don’t know what to do. Tried automated eBay “help†which was pointless.

·2 years agoThis sounds like for some reason ebay suspended the seller. That’s the only way everything could disappear so quickly.
Also, the seller (and eBay) never have access to your credit card information. The only one that gets that - and even they don’t store it - is the payment processor, Adyen.
