Question

I bought an item for my car. Contacted the seller in China and they told me to cut the wires take a picture and they would refund my money. I did all that and now they won't refund my money. Carboot is the company and ebay doesn't seem to help. I'm very frustrated and recommend nobody purchase from this company in China!! NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Did you file a Return Request through Ebay's Money Back Guarantee?

Go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under â€œMore actionsâ€ click on â€œReturn itemâ€ and select the reason for the return.

The seller will have 3 days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item.

If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.

If the seller is from another country, s/he will have to send enough funds to cover return shipping, because the seller cannot provide a shipping label good in this country, or refund in full without having you return the item. If the seller does neither, click on the link to Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case.
