Mobile website filters are gone!
In the last several days, when I try to use the website on Safari, it defaults to the Desktop site, doesn’t offer me the choice of the old mobile view, AND the option to do detailed filtering is gone. Additionally, whatever platform I’m using, sorting by price reduces the number of results!

OP2 years agoSo, I'm just supposed to use a "workaround" instead of the bug being addressed?

Mentor2 years agoYou can do whatever you want.
Feel free to contact eBay and try convince them to make the site work the way you expect it to.
While you are waiting, you may want to consider using the workaround, though.

Mentor2 years agoAny difference if you use another browser?
Using Chrome on an Android phone I am not having any problems switching between Mobile and Classic site versions of the page.
The "Price plus shipping: lowest first" sort order is subject to "streamlining" or filtering. To avoid that, use the "see more results" link or else use a different sort order.

OP2 years agoThe filtering issue may have just been a temporary glitch.
The results issue is a problem with both Safari and Firefox. I’ve attached photos. Safari doesn’t show the streamlining message. Firefox does, but when I select to remove streamlining, the result number does not go back up to the initial results number.

Mentor2 years agoI would suggest avoiding using the "lowest first" sort order if you do not reliably see the "see more results" option or if you cannot use it to see all the listings using a mobile device.
If you must sort by price, try using the "highest first" sort order, with a suitable price range if necessary to limit your results to a reasonable number, then scroll to the bottom of the search results and scroll up through the results rather than scrolling down.
