Mistyped tracking info
I made a mistake when typing in the tracking info, and now eBay will not let me update the tracking number. How do I fix this?

Mentor2 years agoGo to the sold listing. Click EDIT next to the tracking number and then enter the correct tracking number. The transaction will now have 2 tracking numbers. Send a message to the buyer and let him/her know which tracking is correct.

Go to the sold item on this page and select EDIT next to the tracking number> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS Then select ADD to add the correct tracking number. The sold item will have two tracking numbers so let your buyer know which number to watch.
Did you know that if you use eBay labels you get a discount and the tracking is automatically uploaded? If you don't have a printer you can choose the QR code option and show the post office the code on your phone and they will print the label for you.
