Mistaken reason for return selection
The purchase I made was incorrectly described as a RH mirror for my car and it was a LH mirror so it doesn't fit. I accidentally selected the wrong reason for returning selection and it wouldn't let me go back to make the correct reason. Now it says I'm responsible for shipping fees. I paid $38 to ship to me and it'll be the same returning but the item was incorrectly described. I've tried everything and can't find how to change so I get ehe shipping refunded as well. Can anyone help me at all? Thank you!!

Mentor3 years agoUnfortunately, "does not fit" is intended for clothing, and eBay considers that a "remorse" return, which may require the buyer to pay for return shipping, depending on the seller's return policy.
If you had chosen "not as described", that would have required the seller to pay for shipping.
Contact eBay customer service through the Help & Contact page and see if you can get your return request reason changed from "does not fit" to "not as described". Do not close your request yourself, as you will be unable to reopen it.
